Originally known as Moyer Diebel Metalcrafts, Moyer Diebel was founded on April 20, 1950, by two retired RCAF pilots, Art Moyer and Howard Diebel. The company was located in the Niagara Peninsula, specifically, Jordan Station, Ontario, approximately half an hour from Niagara Falls. At the time, the product line was varied and included vending machines, water distilling devices, food preparation machines, as well as commercial glass washers for the hospitality industry.

The name Moyer Diebel has long since been synonymous with excellence in the glass washing business. In 1989, the company was acquired by Champion Industries, a North American leader in the dishwashing industry. Together, Champion and Moyer Diebel now combine well over 150 years of ware washing experience to bring you the best in ware washing, be it flight type dishwashers for hotels or hospitals, rack conveyor machines for restaurants, glass washers, under-counters, pot washers, or any other product for the dish room clean-up.
